I have almost always had my hair bleached and colored to some level, and the hardest thing to find is an educated colorist who specializes in not only the final result, but also cares about how healthy the hair is and how the fade out will go for the type of people like me who love the vivid and the fades stage. 4 years ago I had a stylist burn my hair off with bleach and vowed to never go back.

Fast forward to January 2026, Lorena has openings within 2 days of me wanting to decide to make an appointment and I figure why not. I'm just doing red (avoiding bleach 😩) and the moment I sat in the chair, our personalities clicked. I told her my hair history and how I love color and red is the safe thing I was doing and she had me look at her portfolio for color and my interest was peaked. She asked if we wanted to add fun to the red and I was like .... Yes I do but also I'm scared!

Wow best decision ever. First photo is red roots and a very dimensional pink mid to end shaft. Incredible. The next two photos are the fade out after 5 months which shows not only the quality of color but also placement of lights to have a nice clean fade.

The last photos are from my most recent appointment which took place right after those faded photos (they were for Lorena to see where my hair was at). We talked about some ideas for color, and I was thinking maybe stay the same course... But cotton candy vibes were calling to me, so I asked her if she thought I was out of my mind.

Like a light in the darkness, Lorena said absolutely let's get funky!! The process only took about four hours, which included bleach, color application, and a trim. Full disclosure I do have very thin, fine hair, so if you have long thick hair, it would probably take longer for you 😂my hair is super healthy and pretty, and my heart is so happy.

TLDR: Lorena is an expert at color application, vision and execution. From a person who has been going to salons for bleach and color for about 15 years, I highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed....more

Lorena has blown my mind with her vivids. She uses color theory to achieve gorgeous colors, and makes it suit the individual skin tones of her clients. She’s a lot of fun to work with and educates me about hair care & styling while I’m in her chair, so I can style it myself at home. She also has a technique that makes the colors last for a long time and fade out beautifully. I still get compliments with 3 month old faded vivids because it still looks good after multiple washes so I don’t have to get my hair done as often.
